Academic Resource is looking for a QC Specialist for a pharmaceutical company in Uppsala.

The position is a long-term consulting assignment for 1 year with the possibility of extension.

The work is full-time and during daytime.

Start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory and administrative tasks according to GMP.

• Work independently within a larger area of responsibility and plan work within given frameworks.

• Initiate and investigate incidents and represent the department in projects and investigations.

• Have method and room responsibility and actively participate in improvement work.

• Compile, control, and report results as well as carry out routine work and experimental plans.

• Write and review reports, experimental plans, and documentation.

• Mentor employees and may have design responsibility.

• Act as a specialist, drive development work, and troubleshooting.

• Follow scientific and regulatory developments and translate them into requirements and knowledge dissemination.

Qualifications:

• University education with a scientific/technical focus, or several years of work experience from equivalent activities.

• Good experience in working with chemical analyses.

• At least 5 years of experience in their specialist area.

• Good knowledge of the requirements within their specialist area.

• Experience of working according to GMP.

• Good PC skills.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
